At Tamworth West Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights
Wellbeing week
Wellbeing Week is celebrated across the world!
We hold several Wellbeing Weeks throughout the year, with daily focuses such as 'Move-it Monday', 'Teamwork Tuesday and 'Fresh Food Friday'.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Excursions & cultural visits
Excursions and cultural visits are part of the school’s educational programs and are closely linked to units being studied in particular grades. Overnight excursions, camps or visits to capital cities occur in Years 3 to 6.
